Welcome to Arrow Rock!
Great day trip!
Mark F, St. Louis
ARROW ROCK was settled in the early 1800's and became a town in 1829 - - named for its abundance of flint rock as noted by Lewis and Clark as they passed by in 1804. Arrow Rock was a key Missouri River ferry crossing for pioneers heading west on the Sante Fe Trail. It was also a busy port for steamboats.

FRIENDS OF ARROW ROCK - In 1959, the non-profit organization Friends of Arrow Rock was founded dedicated to the conscientious preservation of Arrow Rock’s historic buildings.
